State Bank of India invited online application forms for the recruitment of Circle Based Officer (CBO) posts under SBI CBO Recruitment 2026. Candidates who were interested in banking sector jobs and fulfilled the eligibility criteria were able to submit their application forms through the online mode.
The online application process started on 29 January 2026 and the last date to apply online was 18 February 2026. The last date to pay the examination fee was extended up to 25 February 2026. Candidates were allowed to submit the application fee through debit card, credit card, net banking or E-challan mode.
Under this recruitment drive, SBI announced a total of 2050 posts for Circle Based Officer. The category wise distribution includes 852 posts for UR, 547 for OBC, 200 for EWS, 303 for SC and 148 for ST categories.
The recruitment also included circle wise vacancies across multiple banking circles such as Amaravati, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Maharashtra, Mumbai Metro, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
