Overview
Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), Ministry of Railways, Yelahanka, Bangalore has issued an official notification for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025-26. A total of 192 vacancies are available in various trades including Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Turner, CNC Programming cum-Operator, Electrician and Electronic Mechanic.
Candidates must have passed Matriculation with minimum 50% aggregate marks and must possess National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT. SCVT certificates are not accepted. Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible. Candidates awaiting ITI/NTC results or failed candidates are also not eligible.
Applications must be submitted in offline mode. Candidates need to download Annexure-A and other annexures from the official website. The completed application form along with required self-attested documents and Demand Draft/IPO must be submitted to The Senior Personnel Officer-II, Personnel Department, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore – 560064 before 01-04-2026 up to 17:00 hrs.
Selection will be purely on merit basis. In case of tie, the older candidate will be preferred. If date of birth is same, the candidate who passed 10th examination earlier will get preference. Final selection is subject to document verification and medical examination.
