About Ordnance Factory Kanpur Recruitment 2026
Ordnance Factory Kanpur, a unit of Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited (AWEIL) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released Advertisement Number OFC/FTC/RECT/2026/01 and OFC/FTC/RECT/2026/02 for recruitment to various technical posts on a contract basis.
The recruitment includes a total of 151 vacancies. Out of these, 116 posts are for Machinist (SS) under Advertisement 01 while the remaining 35 posts are distributed among various other trades including Examiner (Engineering), Electrician or Wireman, Welder, Machinist, Heat Treatment Operator, Fitter General and Electroplater.
These positions are offered on a tenure-based contract. Initially, the contract period will be for one year. Depending on the requirements of the factory and the performance of the employee, the contract may be extended up to a maximum period of four years.
