Eligibility Code For NEET UG
NEET UG Code 01 : A candidate appearing in the 12th standard qualifying examination whose result is awaited may apply and appear in the test. However, the candidate will not be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS if the qualifying examination is not passed with the required percentage at the time of counseling. NEET UG Code 02 : The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English. The last two years must include practical tests in these subjects. NEET UG Code 03 : Intermediate or Pre-degree Examination in Science from a recognized board or university with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as a compulsory subject. NEET UG Code 04 : Pre-professional or Pre-medical Examination after Higher Secondary or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English including practical tests. NEET UG Code 05 : First year of a three-year degree course of a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests, provided the earlier qualifying examination also included these subjects. NEET UG Code 06 : B.Sc. Examination from an Indian University with at least two subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and the earlier qualifying examination must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. NEET UG Code 07 : Any other examination equivalent in scope and standard to the Intermediate Science Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests and English.
NEET UG 2026 Important Instructions
Aadhar Card is compulsory for all candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 examination. Photo Instruction : Clear passport size photo and 4×6 size photo with white background. Candidate name and photo taken date must be mentioned. OBC NCL Certificate must be issued between 01 April 2025 to 31 March 2026. NTA NEET UG 2026 Entrance Exam – Overview

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited online applications for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026. This examination is conducted for admission into undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS and BDS across medical colleges in India. Candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria can apply online after reading the complete notification carefully.

The application process for NEET UG 2026 started on 08 February 2026 and the last date to submit the online application form and pay the examination fee is 08 March 2026. Candidates will be allowed to make corrections in their application form between 12 March and 14 March 2026.

The NEET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on 03 May 2026. Exam city details and admit cards will be released before the examination date. The result of the examination is expected to be declared in June 2026.

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 intermediate examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from a recognized board in India.
