India Post Office GDS 1st Merit List 2026
The Ministry of Communication under the Department of Posts has released the recruitment notification for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posts including Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevak. Eligible candidates were invited to apply for these vacancies through the online application process available on the official India Post GDS portal.
Under this recruitment process, a total of 28,740 vacancies have been announced across different postal divisions. Candidates who have passed Class 10 with Mathematics and English from a recognized board and possess knowledge of the local language, computer operation, and cycling are eligible to apply for these posts.
