Valid Period of CTET Certificate
CTET qualifying certificate validity will be for lifetime for all categories. There is no restriction on number of attempts. Candidates who have qualified CTET may appear again to improve their score.

About CTET December 2025

Central Board of Secondary Education released notification for CTET 2026 Entrance Examination. Online application process was conducted from 27 November 2025 to 18 December 2025. The examination was held on 18 February 2026 and re-examination is scheduled for 01 March 2026 for selected centres.

Candidates applying for CTET are required to carefully read the Information Bulletin and ensure they fulfill eligibility conditions before submitting the application form. Applicants must provide complete details while filling the online form and enter correct mailing address along with postal PIN code.

The application process includes registration on the official website, filling the online application form, uploading scanned photograph and signature, payment of examination fee, and printing the confirmation page for future reference. If a candidate submits more than one online application, the candidature may be cancelled and the candidate may be debarred from future examinations.

The examination city is allotted on first come first served basis depending on availability of capacity. If the selected city is full during application or payment process, candidates must select another available city. No request for change of examination city will be accepted under any circumstances.

If a candidate cancels the transaction during payment process, the full examination fee will be refunded as per mode of payment and the application will not be considered for that session of CTET.
